Strangers in the Arena

Strangers in the Arena is founded in 2019 and the band still surviving they are now well trained, ready and available to perform the legacy repertoire ‘on stage’ for the old-school fans of UFO and MSG and for the those who appreciate the genre in general (70’s & 80’s hard-rock & metal heads – you know who we mean).

The members of Strangers in the Arena are:

- Richard ‘the Lionheart’ Morra – Vocals

- Igor ‘the Burgondian’ Pejiç – Bass guitar

- Ferry ‘Bonzo’ van de Weghe – Drums

- Erik ‘the Boss’ van Bemmel – Guitar

- Remko ‘the Conductor’ de Winter – Guitar

The repertoire exists besides the UFO and MSG selection also of some winks to Scorpions because Michael helped them during the Lovedrive period.

Strangers in the Arena want to thank UFO, MSG and Scorpions, who stood at the basis of the heavy metal scene evolving after the punk period at end of the seventies, for all the fantastic songs they wrote and we hope they and you appreciate Strangers in the Arena playing this legacy the best they can.

Tension

Een viermans formatie uit Alkmaar die stevige rock- en punkrock-covers speelt, met zo af en toe een (zoals wij het dan maar noemen) ballade ertussen. Tension bestaat nu 4 jaar, maar de leden hebben allemaal hun strepen wel verdiend in diverse andere bands en staan garant voor een avondje meebrullen met bekende, en mogelijk verrassende, hits.
